You can only post articles if you are registered on SecondSol. When registering, you can decide whether you want to act as a private individual or as a company. While both groups can list up to two items for free, professional traders must book one of three sales packages if they want to list more than two items. Performance-related commissions do not accrue on SecondSol. Find out more about the sales packages here.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Preparation

1. Register yourself.
2. Log in to your account.
3. In the bar on the left under "My ads" click on "Post an article".

2. Posting process

1. Fill out all necessary information fields from 1. Category to 5. Item location and under 6. upload pictures and files. Pay attention to high-quality product images of your items.
2. Make sure that your offer is correct and complete and confirm your entries to finally list the item.
3. From this point on, customers can see your products on SecondSol.

3. Receive inquiries about your product

1. SecondSol notifies you when a product is requested.
2. Answer the buyer's possible questions and agree with them on price & payment, delivery, guarantees, return policy, etc. 
3. Confirm or deny the request.

4. Payment 

1. Whether you sell on account or in advance is entirely up to you.
2. Agree on a method of payment with the buyer. The buyer pays you directly. SecondSol is not involved in the payment process.

5. Shipment

Depending on what you have agreed with the customer, you can send the products or make them available for collection.
