If more specific legal bases are applicable in individual cases, we will inform you about them in the privacy policy. The processing by us is primarily based on the following legal bases of the GDPR.

Where SecondSol tweets contain personal data (e.g., names or photos), we generally inform the respective individuals about the publication and processing on this page at the time of data collection and obtain the necessary consent from the data subject, if applicable (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TTDSG). We process this data based on our overriding legitimate interest in providing relevant content to our users and followers on the Twitter platform and enabling them to use our Twitter page and its functionalities (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

User Communication

Information that users provide to us through direct messages on the Twitter page (e.g., username, name, profile picture, contact details, or a message to us - "message data") is processed to effectively address the user's concern or to communicate with the user in this regard. The legal basis for data processing is then Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

We also receive your personal data when you use certain hashtags or when we share your Twitter posts. The personal data we process in this case are only the data that you publicly publish on the Twitter platform for us and for any other user to see ("Community Data").

The Community Data may include your username and the content you publish through your profile if you have set it to be visible in your privacy settings on the Twitter platform. We do not receive any usage data from you or Twitter from the background (such as your IP address, device number, or non-publicly disclosed information) or other "hidden" data.

Followers

When a user follows or subscribes to our Twitter page or performs similar activities ("Followers"), we receive the follower's username. We process this data to manage our Twitter page and tailor content to the interests of our followers. The legal basis for processing is our predominant interest in assessing the reach and visibility of our Twitter page and improving and expanding its presence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Twitter provides us with "Tweet Highlights" as part of Analytics. When a user mentions SecondSol in their tweet, their username and the respective tweet are displayed to us. We process this data to potentially respond to the user and adapt our Twitter page to the interests and suggestions of users. The legal basis for processing is our predominant interest in being informed about mentions in tweets and adjusting our Twitter page accordingly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
